This series was inspired by the notion of escapism.  The saturated colors contrast heavily with the harsh winter landscapes of Canada. As this atmospheric contrast is witnessed by countless Canadian vacationers (aka "Snow Birds") per year, I felt that Florida should be documented as many Canadians see it: a feel good utopia.
